Major update released for Angry Birds on the Android.

More levels and better compatibility for different devices.
The advent and continued strong support for the Android platform is in my opinion sort of a tipping point where the Android platform may eventually overtake Apple’s formerly considerable “App” lead.
Just a few months ago, when you would search for Angry Birds in the Android Marketplace you would find a couple of garbage apps pretending to be Angry Birds. Now this is at least the third iteration or release of Angry Birds (if you include the beta) in a very short period.

This is insane, forget about Android, I’m getting an iPod Touch and using it on the Sprint Network!

This is a game changer for the phone market, iPod Touches will be flying off the shelves. Hopefully Sprint and their resellers can sell the iPod Touch along with the case.

The ending of the Inception movie is a bit mind-scratching as you don’t know if the top falls or keeps spinning. Leonardo uses the top to help keep straight what’s a dream and what’s reality, this way he knows where he is. Normally in a dream you think it’s real, and as dream dwellers or interlopers or trespassers who could themselves be hijacked by another person’s dream it’s important to keep your head on straight.
One question is whether the mother was actually still in a dream or not when she killed herself, it certainly seemed like a dream sequence, although it was also a flashback, so who knows. The movie is worth seeing a few times to get things straight although as the internet-sphere chatter goes you’ll probably end up with as many new questions as solve riddles.

This news this morning:

After previously stating that he would not attend, Obama is heading to Copenhagen for this Friday’s final set of presentations on who gets to host the 2016 Summer Olympics. Obama is sending a pretty sizable delegation including his wife and a couple cabinet members. Hope this helps Chicago’s chances!

There was something nice about Napster… I’m not an audiophile or even really consider myself a hard-core music fan, but downloading stuff from Napster satisfied a real need… get something for free cheaply. I won’t say it had more appeal than that, and I didn’t really use it all that much, but the feeling that you’re getting some digital stuff — quite reliably and fast — for free was awesome. I don’t get the same feeling with bittorrent, maybe just because it’s so slow and the interface is different. Also, I don’t like web site feeders that direct people into it.
If anything – iTunes is the Napster 2.0 for me. Of course you have to pay for everything, but it’s a decent interface (could be improved) and very reliable.

This is crazy – apparently a boy at his High School graduation was up on stage and blew a kiss to his Mom. The principal sent him back to his seat because the students had agreed to just walk stiffly and not do any gestures like that. The principal was just trying to enforce an orderly graduation ceremony without too much boisterous activity.

It’s hard to see that there are still slaves around, we have been talking about to treat every person the same. Hope one day we could all think that it’s a shame to treat other people as a slave, but I do know that in some asian countries the men do treat women very badly! We need to have more people to talk about it!

Japanese knows the best of how to treat flowers, they have the history of more than 1,000 years to make them pretty. Each little girl has to study this subject, just like we have to learn Ballet in the US. I always hope that I would be able to know a little bit about it. I can never arrange the flowers in such a neat and presentable way:-)
